Supporting the community with Lazy Day

At Lazy Day, we believe that supporting our local community is a crucial part of our mission. That's why we're always looking for ways to give back and make a positive impact. One way we do this is by supporting local charities like St Andrew's Hospice, which provides invaluable care and support to individuals and families facing terminal illnesses. We recently participated in a 10k run to raise funds for the hospice, and it was a wonderful opportunity to spend time with our own team while connecting with others who share our passion for making a difference.

Another cause that's close to our hearts is supporting food banks. We've made it a priority to donate to food banks when possible, particularly one in Edinburgh that we've developed a close relationship with. They have found that the most common reason people were using the food banks was due to having no money, often caused by benefit delays or changes. The Community One Stop Shop collect our donations of gluten free and vegan snacks to support those in need.

We also believe in supporting local schools and community organizations whenever we can. For example, we've donated raffle prizes to schools in the area to help them raise funds for important projects, and we've provided a donation so that local children can spend time with a Scottish athlete and learn about the benefits of staying active and healthy. We know that every little bit helps, and we're committed to doing our part to make our community a better place for all.
